Land Development - Civil Engineering Team Leader
Job Description
Are you a seasoned engineer who thrives at the intersection of high-level strategy and hands-on technical execution? Our client is looking for a visionary Engineering Manager to lead a multi-faceted team through complex, large-scale projects across Western Canada.
If you’re a P.Eng. who values mentorship as much as technical excellence, this is your opportunity to shape the infrastructure of tomorrow.
Why This Role Matters
In this position, you aren’t just managing schedules; you are the technical heartbeat of the firm. You will bridge the gap between complex design and real-world application, ensuring that junior talent is mentored and projects are executed with precision.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
The Credentials: 10+ years of progressive engineering experience and a P.Eng. registration in good standing with EGBC or APEGA.
The Versatility: Deep expertise in Heavy Industry, specifically within one or more of these sectors:
- Wastewater Treatment
- Facility Design & Construction
- Process Engineering & Piping
The Leadership Style: A "player-coach" mentality. You are as comfortable leading a boardroom presentation as you are diving into the technical weeds to solve a complex site issue.
The Drive: A genuine passion for building and creating tangible solutions that move the needle.
Logistics & Impact
This is an in-office role based in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
You’ll stay connected to the work with 3–4 days of travel per month across Western Canada, ensuring project excellence from the office to the field.
