Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Journeyman will be responsible for the Installation of both power & control systems.
- Journeyman must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and engineered drawings/specifications
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Train apprentices and other electricians on the proper handling, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures during electrical installations and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Valid 309A Electrical License (Journeyperson Electrician)
- Troubleshooting skills with control systems
- Proven experience in industrial/commercial electrical work
- Technical capacity with attention to detail.
- Valid Ontario Driver's license
- Team builder/leadership attributes.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Problem solving.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Time management.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Experience:
- A basic understanding of refrigeration systems
- Managing crews (up to 5 workers)
- Working in food processing or packaging facilities (GMP compliance)

Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
