Role Description
We are growijg and in need if a full-time, on-site role as a Journeyman Technician located in Red Deer, Alberta. The Journeyman Technician will handle a variety of tasks, including diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and overhauling heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Responsibilities also include ensuring quality service, working with the latest diagnostic tools, and collaborating with a team of skilled professionals. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and company standards while meeting customer expectations with timely and efficient repairs.
Qualifications
Technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and familiarity with advanced equipment such as Cummins, Detroit, Cat, Eaton, and Allison systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Good teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
Knowledge and adherence to workplace safety regulations and practices
Relevant certification as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent qualifications
Experience working with Western Star or Freightliner vehicles is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Red Deer, AB
