Installation and Site Operations Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Installation and Site Operations Manager to support ongoing multi‑family construction projects. This contract role is ideal for a highly organized, detail‑driven professional with deep experience in cabinet installation and on‑site coordination. There is potential for this contract role to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and track installation progress on active job sites
- Complete detailed inspection and quality‑control reports
- Receive delivery trucks on site and coordinate efficient material dispersal
- Follow established company procedures and installation protocols to ensure consistency and compliance
- Work closely with labour service companies, including office coordination and on‑site supervision
- Coordinate safety orientations for incoming workers and trades
- Manage field‑level site paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Attend regular site toolbox meetings as company representative
- Maintain clear communication with installation teams, trades, and site supervisors
- Ensure work is completed to specification, schedule, and safety standard
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in cabinet installation (required)
- Strong understanding of construction site workflows and sequencing
- Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and support a team of installers
- Strong computer and email skills, with the ability to complete digital reports and communicate professionally
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable representing the company on active sites
- Based in Calgary; willingness to travel to out‑of‑town projects is an asset
- Saturday availability required
- WCB coverage and liability insurance required
Contract Details
- Project‑based / contract position
- Approximately 25 hours per week
- Work is primarily daytime and site‑based
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $49,820.40-$80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Work Location: In person
