Job Description
DescriptionWe are looking for Industrial Electricians to join our team at the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill in Saint John N.B. This position is responsible for supporting both the project initiatives connected to our facility's expansion, and the maintenance of our mill.
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be accountable for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment for optional performance and minimizing operational downtime.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment
- Install, maintain, and service electrical equipment to support continuous operations
- Apply health, safety, and quality standards consistently to promote a safe and compliant work environment
- Collaborate effectively with management, production, and maintenance teams to support operational goals
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Instrumentation & Control Technology
- Journeyperson Industrial Electrician licensed to practice in the province of New Brunswick
- Required experience: Minimum 1 year in an industrial environment as an electrician
- Problem Solving ability in a fast paced environment
- Self-motivated and have a strong personal drive
- Team player with interpersonal skills
- Strong safety aptitude
- Strong Electrical aptitude
