Inclusion Support Worker in licensed after school program

We are looking for an experienced individual to support an elementary school age child in our licensed after school program (Southside location). Ideal candidate MUST be available 1:30/2:00-5:30 Monday to Friday.

This position could lead to fulltime summer employment.

Our team approach involves working closely with the child & their parents, BGC staff and other qualified individuals in order to best support the child and set them up for a positive experience.

The successful candidate must have:

• Direct experience working with elementary school age children in daycare/camp/recreation settings
• Previous training/experience working in a Support role for children in daycare/school setting
• Strong leadership skills, reliable, excellent communication, professionalism and is a team player
• The ability to work as a general Program Leader with other groups of children when needed
• Up to date First aid & CPR training (2 day course)
• Clear Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector check that has been done in NB and in the last 12 months
• Successful completion of BGC screening

Job Type: Part-time Hours Monday-Friday 1:30/2:00-5:30 (full day for School Closure days and March Break)
