Immigration Case Worker
Job Description
Can-America Immigration is expanding and seeking experienced Immigration Case workers who are not only technically strong in Canadian immigration but also confident sales professionals capable of converting inquiries into signed retainers. The case worker is responsible for all aspects of case processing and support, as well as client communication. This position requires hands-on experience managing immigration files from initial consultation through submission and approval, while also taking ownership of client acquisition, consultation delivery, follow-ups, and closing service agreements.
Candidates must be comfortable working in an office in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Operational Support
- Welcome and assist walk-in clients professionally
- Manage phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling
- Maintain organised digital and physical client records
- Assist with invoicing, receipts, and basic financial tracking
- Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment
- Support coordination between sales and operations teams
Sales Conversion, Client Communication & Case Management
- Assess eligibility across various immigration pathways
- Follow up consistently with prospects, schedule appointments and meetings with clients
- Convert inquiries into retained clients
- Maintain accountability for consultation-to-retainer conversion rates
- Must be proficient in the requirements and processing, and draft and prepare applications, including:
- Temporary Resident Visas (Work Permit, Study Permit, Visitor Visa)
- Express Entry
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)
- Economic Class applications
- Researching immigration resources to ensure accurate forms and document checklists are used for each application preparation. Complete all government forms accurately and efficiently, draft SOPs, Affidavits, Statutory Declarations, and submission letters for review by RCIC and must be able to do revisions as per the instructions given and ensure all submissions meet current IRCC standards
- Track application deadlines, expiry dates, and compliance requirements, and make sure applications are submitted as per the deadlines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Provide regular file updates and respond to inquiries promptly
- Collect and verify information and supporting documentation from clients promptly with strict
- Review billing, invoices, and client ledgers for assigned files. Maintain complete accountability for each case under your management
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorised to work in Canada
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of more than two languages is an asset.
- Should be proficient in listening and speaking Malayalam
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on Canadian immigration experience
- Proven ability to independently manage immigration files with minimum supervision
- Strong understanding of IRCC processes and documentation requirements
- Demonstrated sales ability, particularly in closing service agreements
- Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PDF tools - Mandatory
- Ability to work under pressure in a performance-driven environment
- Experience in conducting webinars and videos on social media platforms for potential clients will be an asset
- Candidates must reliably commute to Mississauga, ON or be prepared to relocate before joining.

Compensation:
$40,000 – $44,000 per year + Performance Incentives based on achieving sales targets
