We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and a professional attitude. Prior experience in hair styling and retail sales is preferred, along with strong communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.

Duties

• Provide a variety of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
• Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized care.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon industry standards through ongoing education.

Skills

• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Ability to upsell products and services confidently without being pushy.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike.
• Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Work Location: In person
