Job Description
Indalco Alloys (a Lincoln Electric Co) is the aluminum weld wire division of Lincoln Electric which produces all of the aluminum weld wire products globally. Indalco is recognized as the world’s only fully integrated manufacturer of a range of continuous cast aluminum rod and aluminum weld wire products. Indalco manufactures all products under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for divisional objectives; monitoring performance against established objectives; coordinating division planning, operations, administrative and financial control activities and directing all divisional management (Safety, Quality, Production & Sales). Coordinates division operations with appropriate senior management.
- Responsible for formulating and recommending divisional strategies to the Senior Director of Operations, Canada Welding and Executive Leadership Team in Cleveland, Ohio.
- To participate as an active member of the Executive Committee and contribute to the general management of the Company in conjunction with other senior management assigned to the Executive Committee and Leadership Team.
- To prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including budgets, strategic plans, forecasts, statistics, analyses and financial information in conjunction with ongoing business requirements, priorities, policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage annual operating plans/capital projects and execute action plans that drive efficiencies, achieve quality standards and comply with all regulatory requirements and organizations.
- Execute the responsibilities of a Company director according to lawful and ethical standards, as referenced in Lincoln Electric Corporate Code of Conduct and Ethics, Compliance and all applicable legislation related to the global business of Indalco Alloys.
- Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary operational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to the managers and staff within Indalco.
- To report directly to the Senior Director of Operations, Canada Welding on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to finance, manufacturing and sales.
- To oversee and collaborate with the Leadership Team and Managers at all levels on matters pertaining to the business operations.
- To actively participate in company, staff or individual one‑on‑one meetings on an ongoing basis for the purposes of effective teamwork, enhanced communication and progressive co‑operation strategies within the department, as well as other departments across the Company.
- To continually contribute to the profitability of Indalco Alloys and the Company and ongoing business operations by supporting, initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- To fully abide and actively support Lincoln Electric’s and Indalco Alloys Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the health & safety of all employees.
- To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned, or required by the Senior Director of Operations, Canada Welding of Lincoln Electric Company of Canada in a timely and professional manner.
Required Experience and Education
- Undergrad University Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8‑10 years experience in Manufacturing Leadership (prior Plant Manager, General Manager, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in Senior Level Operations Management role
- Strong business acumen, judgment and product development skills
- Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to relate to all levels of the Global Organization as well as outside vendors, customers and consultants
- Strong ability to provide sound leadership and build a highly engaged management team and workforce
- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office. SAP experience is an asset coupled with excellent data management (spreadsheet) and query skills.
- Experience in leading a non‑union and ISO certified manufacturing operation
