Garden Centre Associate
Job Description
***Must be trained/certified with driving loaders, forklift and or skid steers. Please do not apply unless you have a certificate showing you have been formally trained.
1 full time seasonal positions available April to late November. Must be able to lift 50lb, work long hours in the spring and work small machinery, such as weed eaters and lawn mowers. Loading of aggregates, soils and mulches into customer vehicles/trailers with loader. Maintenance of the Garden Centre property and watering of plants and trees. Must be able/willing to weed and maintain the Garden Centre in a professional manner. Own transportation is necessary. Must love to work with the public, knowledgeable about plants or the ability to learn about plants/trees. This is a seasonal full time position. Monday to Friday with weekend work required in the spring and summer months. Due to the seasonality of the business, weekend and holiday work is required. **Please note: Successful candidates must not have a criminal record to which they have not received a pardon.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
