Job Description

Kawartha Financial Services (formerly Kawartha Credit Union) is pleased to announce that we recently merged with Libro Credit Union, making us the 2nd largest credit union in Ontario.

We are looking for talented candidates to fill upcoming Branch Ambassador vacancies at our local branches in the Peterborough and Kawartha area.

You will bring your excellent customer service and professional communication skills to help our members with both their day-to-day transactions and in meeting their financial goals.

Previous experience in the banking/financial industry is an asset but if you are passionate about providing top notch customer service and learning new technology, this could be a great opportunity!

Rate of Pay

$19.75-$26.73 per hour

Compensation

Compensation for this position is determined by skills, experience, and education. It is aligned with the locations market data, as well as internal equity. Candidates whose qualifications more closely align with the job requirements may be placed higher within the compensation range. Our Talent Partner will share additional details about our compensation and total rewards during the recruitment process.

Position Description

As a Branch Ambassador, you will:

• Contribute to the success of the Credit Union by creating member loyalty and providing member service excellence


• Assist members and non-members in person, electronically or by telephone


• Direct members to an Advisor who can offer needs-based advice that will enhance their financial well-being


• Support members with routine transactions


• Educate members about our new branch design and new way of doing their banking


• Provide administrative support to lending and investment personnel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent


• Excellent customer service, organizational and sales skills


• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally


• Basic to intermediate computer skills


• Customer service or banking experience would be an asset
