Full-Cycle Accountant (Operations-Focused)

Our client, a fast-paced organization in the industrial services sector, has recently completed a major integration and is building out its in-house accounting function. They are seeking a driven, adaptable Full-Cycle Accountant who thrives in a hands-on, operational environment and is ready to step into a central role immediately. This position is ideal for someone who wants broad exposure to full-cycle responsibilities, career growth, close partnership with operations, and the opportunity to take ownership as shared services transition out in the coming months.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to an experienced operational leader, you will handle a diverse portfolio of accounting tasks while supporting day-to-day activity across the business. You’ll be stepping into a high-energy environment where priorities move quickly, collaboration is essential, and “getting the job done” is the culture.

Key Responsibilities
You will assume responsibility for core shared-services accounting functions, including:
Accounting Operations
- Full-cycle AP and AR
- Posting and booking cash entries
- Month-end setup and related processes
- Preparing and submitting invoices
- Setting up vendor payments
- GST filing support (no income tax work)
Tools & Systems
- Business Central
- Open Invoice
- Job Utrack
- Intermediate Excel (V/HLOOKUPs, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
- Power BI experience is an asset, not a requirement
Other
- Direct support to Senior leadership
- Broad accounting scope

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually
- Discretionary bonus potential
- Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m., some flexibility on start/end times; 40-hour work week
- Vacation: 3 weeks

Who You Are
- 2+ years experience in full-cycle accounting supporting month end
- Comfortable working in an active, conversational, open-concept office
- Highly adaptable with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage competing priorities with urgency
