What You Will Do:
Respond to the direction of the pilot in command during the performance of in-flight duties and responsibilities
Coordinate and provide cabin, ground, and in-flight passenger services, ensuring company customer service standards are met
Perform ongoing safety-related duties in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), including cabin checks, announcements, and escorting passengers to and from aircraft for boarding and deplaning
Perform on board pre-flight safety checks prior to departure to comply with company standards and government regulations. Attend and participate in pre-flight crew briefings
Perform all duties in a state of preparedness in the event of an emergency evacuation or critical incident, ensuring that passenger safety is a priority
Attend and actively participate in all required regulatory and company training
Prepare and submit appropriate flight documents and reports. Advise the pilot in command of any abnormal incidents or events and prepare a written report if required
Ensure all manuals are up-to-date and abide by all information and directives received through company bulletins
Ensure that the flight attendant manual is carried on all flights
Advise the flight attendant manager of any matter that could affect the operation of the company
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One to two years of progressive customer service experience.
Previous work experience or training in aviation is preferred.
Willingness to complete Transport Canada-approved training (Qualification for this position is depended on successful completion of the approved training and examinations and must be able to achieve 85% on all written exams.)
First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
Working knowledge of the Dene and/or Cree languages is an asset

How You Can Become a Flight Attendant with Us:
Step 1: Recruitment - Submit your application for review. Our standard recruitment process includes application screening, interview and reference checks. Successful candidates will join Rise Air as Flight Attendant Trainees. (Only candidates selected for the next round are contacted).
Step 2: Ground School - As a Flight Attendant Trainee, you will be attending in-house Ground School where you learn all of the basics of being a flight attendant. This is a full-time class spanning 2-3 months. You are fully compensated during ground school at the Flight Attendant Trainee rate ($22/hour), and the cost of training is 100% covered by the Company. Qualification for this position is dependent upon successful completion of training and scoring at minimum 85% on all written exams.
Step 3: Line Indoctrination - Once ground school and all examinations are successfully completed, the final step is to put your skills into practice and complete the line indoctrination.
Step 4: Flight Attendant - Congratulations You are now officially a Flight Attendant and are compensated at the full Flight Attendant rate ($27/hour). Time to set up your work schedule and explore Saskatchewan's beautiful living skies.
