Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected, mission-driven organization in the search for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst. This is a pivotal role for a finance professional who thrives at the intersection of numbers, strategy, and collaboration. You will play a central part in shaping financial insight across the organization, supporting senior leadership with clear analysis, thoughtful forecasting, and meaningful reporting that informs real decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and coordinate the full annual budgeting and forecasting cycle for both operating and capital expenditures
- Develop clear, insightful financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making throughout the year
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities with practical recommendations
- Support revenue planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling tied to organizational activity and visitation levels
- Contribute financial analysis for strategic initiatives, special projects, and long-range planning
- Partner closely with leaders across the organization to guide budget development, explain financial outcomes, and support accountability
- Collaborate with People & Culture on workforce planning, salary projections, and compensation-related scenarios
- Ensure financial processes, controls, and reporting practices align with established standards and best practices
- Assist with internal and external reporting requirements, including annual planning and reporting cycles
- Act as a reliable financial resource for leaders, providing timely analysis and sound judgment in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
- CPA designation
- Approximately 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong capability in financial modeling, variance analysis, and interpreting complex data
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and contributing to organization-wide planning discussions
- Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to engage in executive-level and board-level conversations alongside senior leadership
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
- Professional judgment, integrity, and a collaborative working style
- A genuine interest in working within a values-driven, public-facing organization
Rewards:
- Hybrid work model
- Competitive salary range anticipated between $75,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience
- Comprehensive total rewards package, including a defined benefit pension plan
