to join our dedicated team. We are looking for a Finance Technician to assist our Finance Manager to ensure our financial records are up to date and compliant with regulations.

Who are we? Indigenous Perspectives Society is a provincial not for profit organization that strengthens the voice of Indigenous communities through culturally relevant education, professional development, research, and policy. Unique to our organization is our commitment to culturally relevant services. For 30 years, our programs have been fostering a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives and cultural differences and helping build successful relationships with Indigenous communities, stakeholders and government partners.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum Two Years in a finance related position
  • Experience using software applications to create spreadsheets
  • experience in following policies and procedures that will ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reports
  • experience working on a non-profit government funded society infrastructure is an asset
