Job Description

CORE Linepipe is looking for Field Service Technicians to join our Field Operations team.

 ABOUT CORE LINEPIPE INC.

CORE Linepipe Inc. ("CORE") is a privately held oilfield pipeline manufacturing and service company founded in 2012. The Company manufactures and installs a unique factory build pipe-in-pipe corrosion-resistant pipeline system. CORE's Linepipe product called CORE Liner uses an outer steel pipe for structural integrity and damage resistance with a polymer liner inserted in the pipe for a reliable and durable corrosion-resistance barrier.

 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Field Service Technician is an integral member of CORE's field service team responsible for completing the  installation of CORE's products on various customer worksites located throughout Western Canada.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other members of the field services team to complete the installation of CORE's products on customer worksites, under the direction of CORE's Field Foreman,
• Operation hydraulic field press and electrofusion and general labour duties.
• Complete all tasks in accordance with CORE's policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the Field Foreman.
• Execute tasks on time and in a professional manner.

JOB APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

• 3 -4 years pipeline construction experience in remote locations for extended periods of time.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds and be physically able to perform manual tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• This is a field-based position requiring extensive travel with daily overtime and consecutive days spent away from home while on a field project.
• Field Service Technicians must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and work for extended hours and days in a physically challenging environment.

 COMPENSATION

This position is full-time permanent. Travel time and daily subsistence are paid for field project work. Accommodation in a single room is provided by CORE.

This position is also eligible for the CORE Linepipe Group Benefit plan, and eligible for annual PPE reimbursement.
