Tridon Communications is looking for skilled Fiber & Structured Cabling Technicians to join our Calgary team. You’ll install, repair, and maintain structured cabling and fiber optic systems for commercial, industrial, and temporary facilities — helping us deliver reliable, high-performance communication solutions across Western Canada.
What You’ll Do- Install, splice, and test structured cabling and fiber optic systems (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber).
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain communication circuits and cabling networks.
- Read and interpret telecom drawings and specifications.
- Work safely and efficiently on diverse projects — from office towers to industrial sites.
- 2+ years of fiber and/or structured cabling experience.
- Knowledge of networking requirements and wiring standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and client-facing skills.
- Valid Alberta Class 5 License and a safety-first mindset.
- Bonus: Manufacturer certifications (TE Connectivity, CommScope, Belden, Corning).

Our Engineering, Radio Communications, Data Communications, Security, Mobility, and Tower Divisions collaborate with customers to build custom solutions for their wireless communication needs. We have been supplying wireless communication products and services to Alberta industry since 1981. We operate seven service shops in Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Edson, Hinton, Calgary, Saskatoon & Terrace British Columbia.
