*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. This role involves managing acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive health, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Experience with hospital settings, research, and home care is a plus. The physician will use electronic health records, such as Accuro and OceanMD, to effectively document and coordinate patient information.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages.
* Manage acute care cases, including pain management and urgent health issues.
* Administer medications and oversee medication management plans
* Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Document clinical encounters accurately using Epic or Cerner systems
* Collect and analyze data to improve clinical outcomes and support research initiatives
* Participate in home care visits when necessary to support patient recovery and ongoing health management
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices in family medicine

*Qualifications*

* Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
* Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine (CPSO)
* OHIP Billing Number
* Valid medical license to practice in Ontario
* Proven experience in hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or similar environments
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols
* Experience with electronic health record systems such as Accuro and OceanMD
* Skills in data collection, research, acute care, pain management, pediatrics, and home care are highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
* Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a patient-centred approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $302,000.00-$502,000.00 per year
