We are looking for a skilled and reliable Trailer Mechanic / Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, welding, and maintaining a variety of trailers and related equipment. - Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers.
- Complete welding and fabrication work (MIG required; stick/TIG an asset).
- Repair or replace brakes, suspension components, electrical systems, and trailer structures.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safety and compliance standards.
- Accurately document work performed and maintain detailed service records.
- Follow all company and industry safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with shop staff to maintain efficient workflow.
Qualifications and requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a trailer mechanic, heavy duty mechanic
- Strong welding skills
- Experience with trailer frames, axles, suspensions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and work orders.
- Strong understanding of shop and job-site safety practices

- Aluminum welding
- Hydraulic system repair
- Fabrication and custom welding
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Schedule
- Day shift, monday to friday
