Position Summary: We are seeking professional, warm, and friendly individuals to join our team as an Events Server at Sandpiper Resort. The Events Server will be responsible for providing exceptional service during various events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and special occasions. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate a strong team spirit, and be capable of working independently in a dynamic, event-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner during events.
• Present event-specific menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor guest experiences, respond promptly to requests, and address any concerns to ensure a positive event experience.
• Clear and reset tables or event spaces in a timely manner, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including Serving It Right and Food Safe standards.
• Collaborate with other team members and event coordinators to ensure smooth operations during events.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down for events, including arranging tables, chairs, and other event-related equipment.

Qualifications:

• Age Requirement: Must be 19 years or older.
• Certification: Serving It Right and Food Safe certifications are mandatory.
• Experience: Previous experience in event serving or bartending is an asset.

Availability:

• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays for various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, depending on event schedules.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays, plates, and other items as required.
