Overview

Here at Mission Island Group, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Equipment Operator. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of construction projects and equipment management. In this position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support building, infrastructure, and site development activities. Your mechanical expertise and construction site experience will contribute to safe, timely, and high-quality project completion. Job Specifications

  • 40 hours per week
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have previous experience running excavators, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment.

Requirements:

Excavator operation would include but not limited to:

  • Mixing, moving and piling various materials and loading trucks, trailers and container bins
  • Operation of Tub Grinder/Screener - experience would be an asset (job training provided)
  • Operating a Rock Truck as and when required.
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in loading and running Wood Grinders, Cone Crushers, Jaw Crushers, and Screening Operations who are also mechanically inclined and be able to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair processing equipment
  • 2-4 years of related work experiences in BC with on-job-training is required
  • Well versed in tracking productivity rates of all the different types of processing equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
