What Are We Looking For
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-op will be a member of the Welland Team and working closely to support our North America EHS department. This includes performing a variety of assignments to support the optimization of our EHS program, data management, and EHS continuous improvement.
Co-op Term Duration:
May September 2026
Essential Responsibilites
- Performing EHS site inspections and audits.
- Assist with EHS data collection.
- Working with cross functional departments to resolve EHS concerns.
- Working on EHS continuous improvement projects.
- Working with both Welland and Waukesha sites to combine policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS files, records and documentations.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of EHS files and records.
- Perform periodic audits of EHS files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the EHS department.
Qualifications
- In process of completing a program in Environmental Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and 14001 would be considered an asset.
- Experience working within a manufacturing setting would be considered an asset.
