Electrical Designer

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Electrical Designer.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Create and modify electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs), cable schedules, and device lists for control systems
• Interpret customer specifications and work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams
• Support the development of standard templates, libraries, and internal drawing practices
• Assist in panel design and layout, ensuring CSA/UL standards and safety compliance
• Participate in design reviews and support troubleshooting during panel build and commissioning
• Maintain accurate documentation and revisions throughout project lifecycle

Mandatory Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial machinery, automation, or control systems
• Proficiency with either EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring standards, and control panel design
• Knowledge of CSA/UL standards for industrial electrical panels
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience designing for automated machinery or industrial equipment
• Familiarity with PLC systems and I/O layouts (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron)
• Understanding of safety circuits and power distribution
• Experience supporting panel build or system commissioning in the field

Salary Range: $75,000 – $115,000 pending experience level
