Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Provider with strong Christian values and extensive knowledge of the bible to join our team.
This role involves caring for and nurturing young children in a safe, engaging, and educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children of various needs, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities
路 Supervise and monitor children during play, meals, naps, and activities to ensure safety at all times
路 Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialisation, and creativity
路 Provide emotional support and encouragement to children, fostering a nurturing environment
路 Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and hygiene practices
路 Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and needs
路 Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the daycare area to ensure a safe environment
路 Collaborate with team members to plan educational programs and bible based curriculum.
Requirements
路 Prior classroom experience or working with children preferred
路 In-depth knowledge of the bible and biblical teachings.
路 Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving techniques
路 Experience with Child-Centred Learning and Play-Based Learning with biblical values
路 Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage children in learning activities
路 Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
路 Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
路 Certification in CPR/First Aid required.
路 In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in childcare.
路 Must be reliable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care for children
路 Must be able to converse in both English and French fluently.
