Location:
Greater Toronto Area (GTA) – based out of Caledon ON, serving ICI projects across the GTA.

Job Type:
Full-time, year-round (approx. 40 hours per week)

Pay:
$50,000-$70,000 Salary

Position Overview

Onocon Group is seeking a highly organized and motivated Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of commercial and industrial construction projects across the GTA.

This position works directly with the Owner and plays a critical role in project documentation control, safety coordination, procurement support, and overall project administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track project RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized digital project files including site photos, reports, and daily documentation.
  • Coordinate with third-party safety consultants to ensure internal safety compliance requirements are met
  • Assist with material quantity take-offs and supplier pricing requests.
  • Distribute tender documents to suppliers and track responses.
  • Coordinate material orders and delivery schedules with vendors and site teams.
  • Support project administration including contract documentation and closeout packages.
  • Assist the Owner with scheduling updates, procurement tracking, and general project oversight.

Qualifications

·      2–5 years experience in construction coordination or project administration.

·      Strong organizational and communication skills.

·      Ability to read drawings and perform basic quantity take-offs.

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

·      Experience with construction documentation processes.

·      Knowledge of Ontario construction safety standards considered an asset.

Work Conditions

·     Combination of office and field responsibilities.

·     Regular site visits within the GTA.

·     Exposure to active construction environments requiring proper PPE.

·     Flexibility for occasional extended hours during peak project periods.
