Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher and pool instalker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications, ensuring high-quality results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as familiarity with various construction tools and methods. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and renovation sites, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools
- Apply techniques such as troweling, floating, and edging to achieve desired surface textures and finishes
- Renovating and refinishing pools
- Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for concrete placement or material handling
- Perform masonry tasks including caulking, restoration, and grinding
- Use carpentry skills for form building and adjustments during the finishing process
- Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with concrete curing processes and perform touch-ups or repairs as required
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing and pool construction
- Familiarity with rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, grinding, and pool construction is preferred
- Experience with concrete forming, restoration work, caulking, and renovation projects is advantageous
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, edgers, as well as power tools required for finishing tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation, and construction site protocols
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise work under tight deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.82-$34.42 per hour
