Job Description

Denison is seeking an experienced Camp Administrator to manage the daily operations of our remote camp facilities. The successful candidate will oversee administration, logistics, and resource management, ensuring a safe, efficient and well-supported environment for all personnel. This role works closely with operational teams to support the camp's overall functioning.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee daily camp operations, including housing, catering, laundry, transportation, and visitor coordination
Manage and monitor billing, cost control, and administrative documentation
Supervise and coordinate camp staff and contractors to ensure efficient service delivery
Conduct inspection and quality checks for camp services and facilities
Maintain accurate records of camp operations and communicate requirements to relevant teams
Support procurement, inventory, and allocation of camp supplies and equipment
Identify opportunities to improve camp operations and implement best practices
Ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all personnel

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of relevant experience, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote operational environment. The ideal candidate also has:

Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in camp administration, logistics, or operational support
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to manage and supervise staff, vendors, and contractors effectively
