Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires familiarity with electronic medical records, medical and dental terminology, and office management systems. Experience with Accuro and multi-line phone systems is highly preferred. The Medical Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and a welcoming environment for patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Dentrix
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient details, and reschedule as needed
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally
- Collect patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and process billing inquiries
- Maintain organized front desk operations, including filing, faxing, and data entry
- Assist with administrative tasks such as correspondence, forms completion, and document management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Support the clinical team with administrative needs to facilitate efficient patient care
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Medical Office Receptionist preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
- Proficiency with Accuro
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor
- Office experience in a healthcare setting is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with front desk operations and administrative procedures in medical or dental offices

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
