Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Business Development Representative based in Mississauga, ON. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic initiatives.
Daily tasks will include communicating with potential clients, pitching products or services, conducting comprehensive business analysis, evaluating new market opportunities, preparing detailed business cases, understanding customer needs, and coordinating with internal teams to meet client demands. The representative will play a key role in contributing to Septa Pharma's success in delivering innovative healthcare solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in business analysis, market evaluation, and preparing compelling business cases for new initiatives
- Strong skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation
- Experience in Business Development and Sales
- Exceptional Communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales monitoring software is a plus
- Strategic thinking and ability to identify growth opportunities in the healthcare industry
- Motivated self‑starter with the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in Science and Masters degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred
