We are looking for an Business Development Representative – Calgary, AB
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, a successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.

What We Expect?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent Technology Certification.
- Experience: More than three years of relevant industry experience (Oil & Gas and/or renewable energy). Familiarity with remote power solutions and SCADA systems is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license, as frequent travel is required.
- Positive Attitude: Maintain an upbeat demeanour while navigating challenges, turning objections into opportunities, and inspiring both clients and team members.
- Goal-Oriented Mindset: Set and exceed personal and team targets, driven by a desire to achieve results and contribute to overall business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proactive Outreach: Expect to actively identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, networking, and creative outreach strategies to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas, CCTV, and Water/Waste-Water sectors to expand market presence.
- Required to travel throughout Western Canada (AB/SK/MB) to drive growth initiatives.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the benefits of EFOY Fuel Cells and process automation.
- Utilize Salesforce for accurate forecasting, tracking sales activities, and reporting on pipeline progress.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and gather market intelligence.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to senior management on market conditions and competitive positioning.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for entering new markets and segments.
