Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and ensure that all products meet quality and consistency standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries according to customer requests
-Decorating wedding cakes
- Package and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and order baking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient operation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably as a baker
-Previous experience decorating cakes and wedding cakes
-Experience using fondant
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong skills in food preparation and handling techniques
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
- Experience in using buttercream and fondant to decorate cakes to customers specifications
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent results
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a restaurant kitchen setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
