Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with setting up and pouring foundations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up work areas
- Setting up form work for foundation walls
- Carrying and tying rebar
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Pouring concrete piles
- Using power tools such as circular saws and drills
- Assist with site cleanup upon project completion
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and going up and down a ladder
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Applicants must be able to drive themselves to job sites in and around Winnipeg (vehicle and license required)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
