Position Overview
We are seeking a Transport Canada–licensed M1 AME or a motivated AME Apprentice to join our maintenance team. This role involves performing maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Complete annuals and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical discrepancies
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out in compliance with CARs and company procedures
- Complete accurate technical records and maintenance releases (for licensed AMEs)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards
Qualifications
For Licensed M1 AME:
- Valid Transport Canada M1 AME License
- Experience working on light single and multi-engine piston aircraft
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
- Ability to independently certify maintenance
For AME Apprentice:
- Enrollment in or completion of a recognized AME program
- Previous hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Logbook maintained in accordance with Transport Canada requirements
Nice to have
- Confidence in completing technical records and maintenance releases (for licensed AMEs)
