About the job Agricultural Equipment Technician

• Troubleshoot/inspect equipment to detect faults/malfunctions


• Adjust equipment to specifications, and repair or replace defective parts


• Keep maintenance records and documentation


• Order/purchase required parts and shop supplies


• Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work


• Maintain a tidy and organized work space


• Perform repair work on heavy trucks


• Service attachments and working tools


• Welding (electric arc and/or MIG) of steel components


• Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment and farm vehicles


• The ability and willingness to learn English


• Attention to detail and the ability to properly follow instructions given


• Must work well with and properly communicate with others in a team-setting


• Wear steel-toed safety boots and other PPE (based on task requirements)


• Physically demanding requiring bending, crouching and kneeling for extended periods of time. Also, requires manual dexterity and the ability to handle up to 100 lbs (45 kg).

Free accommodation provided until April 30. We will assist employee in finding housing beginning May 1. Company vehicle provided for first 8 months of employment for business and personal use.

Specific requirements

• Must have a valid Drivers License.


• Preference will be given to candidates with basic knowledge of English. But willing to consider other candidates who have a remedial understanding of English.

• Tools and shop supplies will be provided. Applicants are not required to bring their own.
