Fleet: de Havilland Canada Dash-8, de Havilland Canada Dash-7, de Havilland Canada Twin Otter, Beech King Air 250, Beech King Air 350, Cessna Caravan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entering and coding vendor invoices, intercompany payables, and loan/lease payments in Stampli (invoice workflow system)
- Cash and cheque deposits
- Completing vendor credit applications
- Setting up new vendors in NetSuite (accounting system)
- Matching purchase orders from RAAS (inventory system) to invoices
- Coding fuel invoices using Takeflite data (reservation system)
- Expense report processing
- Corresponding with vendors and reconciling vendor statements
- Providing support for month end accruals
- Perform any other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
- College Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Previous experience in accounting or finance role in a high volume environment
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, outlook and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Netsuit and/or Stampli will be considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong mathematical ability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a restricted timeline
