310T Truck & Coach Mechanic | 310S Automotive Welcome – No Flat Rate – Year Round Work

BJ Kapush Contracting – Thunder Bay, Ontario

BJ Kapush Contracting is a locally owned road construction, snow removal and aggregate company operating a fleet of highway dump trucks, plow/sander trucks, trailers, loaders, graders, excavators, support equipment and vehicles. We maintain our own fleet and are looking for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing equipment properly — not just getting it out the door.

This is a full-time, steady, year-round shop position working primarily on company equipment.

What You'll Be Working On

• Highway dump trucks and trailers
• Winter plow and sander trucks
• Pickup trucks and light fleet vehicles
• Loaders, graders, tractors and excavators
• Hydraulics and electrical systems
• Engine diagnostics and emissions systems
• Preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Requirements

• 310T Truck & Coach License preferred
• Experienced 310S Automotive technicians encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's licence (DZ or willingness to obtain is an asset)
• Strong electrical and diagnostic ability
• Able to work independently
• Welding or fabrication skills are an asset

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift

Pay & Benefits

$28 – $45 per hour depending on experience and certification
