Position Summary
Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Grocery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to Walmart’s core values, maintains and zones the grocery area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.
What You’ll Do
- Zone the department.
- Rotate stock and check for expired products.
- Ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
- Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
- Follow Health and Safety guidelines.
- Stock merchandise/pick, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
Minimum rate of pay: $16.65 per hour, determined based on relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Age – 16 or older
