    Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

    Reports to: Senior Operations Manager

    Job Summary:

    This position is responsible for the timely creation of deliveries and shipments within SAP while working closely with the warehouse team to ensure that shipments are ready for on time pickups. He/she will also coordinate with the carriers to ensure that shipments are delivered on time. The Logistics Coordinator will manage time sensitive deliveries, tracking shipments, investigate and process claims. He/she will coordinate and route outbound shipments to retailers from our 3PL on a daily basis. Other responsibilities include coordinating the Return Authorization process. This individual will be work collaboratively with all departments within the organization on a regular basis. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

    • Responsible for processing inventory goods receipts within SAP system
    • Provide customer freight quotations as required and update freight tool calculator
    • Responsible to track daily shipments and provide shipment info to customers
    • Prepare monthly on time delivery report
    • Responsible for the accurate processing, distribution and release of documentation to required parties
    • Track and trace inbound freight working with customs broker as well as trace missing courier’s shipments on outbound freight
    • Responsible to monitor logistics incoming requests and action all items within a timely matter
    • Responsible to track orders and ensure that all orders are scheduled and prioritized
    • Provide POD and file claim for loss/damage products whenever required
    • Provide full support for all logistic requirements for Logistics Department by management
    • Responsible for daily coordination and communication with warehouses, carriers and customer service
    • Provide support to Customer Service for all transport/stock issues, special shipments or late notice requests

    Qualifications/Skills:

    • 1-3 years of work experience in the logistic environment with exposure to supply chain/warehousing
    • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma an asset
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and track multiple processes
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, works well under pressure
    • Adaptable to change
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Detail oriented and a keen learner, with drive and ambition
    • Strong knowledge of ERP systems required, SAP an asset
    • Computer literacy and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
