WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Atlas Tools and Machinery is a dynamic family run business that has been in operation for over 65 years. We are a leading tools and machinery supplier within the GTA and are known in the industry for our “best in class” customer service. At this time we are seeking to expand our operations and looking to hire enthusiastic, results oriented individuals who have a passion for woodworking, construction and metalworking who are keen on launching a career within our retail operation. Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock.
The Warehouse Associate is critical to the efficiency and safety of the warehouse operations and is responsible for;
- Receiving, unloading, checking and confirming orders & shipments, sorting, organizing to store in warehouse, picking for store customers and sales team or load to ship products
- Assisting in receiving and processing warehouse stock products
- Preparing and completing orders for scheduled delivery or pickup
- Filling online orders
- Picking items to replen the store and for online orders
- Ensuring goods are reconciled and match the purchase order before unloading for storage
- Assisting in the maintenance of a safe, clean and organized warehouse/work environment
- Completing diary logs into inventory and reporting any discrepancies
- Assisting with inbound freight receiving, customer returns processing, order shipping and truck loading
- Assisting with store transfers and all outgoing and incoming processing in the warehouse
- Processing 30 days return
- Perform various duties throughout warehouse/store as required

Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills to take direction and communicate effectively in English
- Some mathematical and computer aptitude required
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet tight deadlines and fill orders in a timely manner
- Ability to lift 50+ plus pounds
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
