Full Job Description
2H is a award-winning interior design firm in business for over 30 years. Its primary focus is residential interiors with a local, national, and international client base.
We’re a small team with a make-it-happen attitude and we’re looking for a highly organized and effective bookkeeper to join our Ottawa-based office. This is an in-office full time position, supporting the entire team and reporting directly to the Operations & Studio Director.
The ideal candidate is an experienced bookkeeper with intermediate to advanced QuickBooks knowledge. A self-starter who is strong in processes and has the ability to think past the numbers and disseminate information. They will contribute positively to 2H’s strategic goals, operate in a collaborative team setting, and maintain high productivity levels and quality of work.
Specifically, we need this person to:
- Adhere to internal financial calendar deadlines
- Manage all QuickBooks entries
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Prepare client design time and product invoices
- Visa reconciliations and payments
- Document management and tracking
- Assist in yearend/preparation
- Prepare and analyze various reports as needed
- Knowledge of/experience with purchase orders
