Full Job Description
We are Sheldon Creek Dairy an on farm dairy crafting milk products right here on our family farm. We are seeking a Order Picker & Warehouse Team Lead for our growing family business located in Loretto, Ontario
This position is responsible for picking and packing all orders for weekly deliveries and overseeing the warehouse and stock of products.
The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, physically able to lift heavy objects and pull skids using a pump truck. This position spends most of the work hours in a refrigerated environment of (4 degrees).
Training will be provided consisting of shadowing and learning the duties required by the job.
Work Week: Monday- Thursday 10-5 (until all orders are fulfilled and completed), Friday: 9-3 (No Weekends)
Hours: 35 hours per week with more hours if interested.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work independently to pick, pack and ship orders.
- You will select and package listed food items to complete customers orders in a timely and organized manner
- Communicate with Management Team and Delivery Drivers.
- Progress in this career as we continue to grow as a business.
- Contribute to our industry by helping bring local food to market.
- Receive, check-in and put away stock quickly and accurately.
- Replenish picking locations and unload trailers.
- Basic computer skills (email, website, scan, photocopy, print ) We use Shopify for our inventory and sales.
- Wage increase is based on performance. Previous job experiences at a grocery store or restaurant will be an advantage
