Job Description
Yellowstone Traffic & Safety Ltd. is hiring experienced Lane Closure Technicians for a busy 2026 construction season. We are seeking reliable, safety-driven individuals who understand proper traffic control procedures and can work independently in active work zones.
This is a full-time seasonal position with strong hours and overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, adjust, and remove traffic control in strict accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMM)
- Follow the Traffic Management Manual at all times
- Conduct hazard assessments before and during lane closures
- Monitor active work zones and adjust traffic control as required
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and the public
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
- Use personal smartphone for dispatch app, job assignments, and reporting
- Maintain professional conduct on all job sites
Mandatory Requirements (Applicants without these will not be considered):
- Valid Traffic Control Certification
- Minimum 1 year verifiable lane closure / traffic control experience
- Valid driver's license (clean abstract preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Personal smartphone capable of running company dispatch app
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry traffic control equipment
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak season
