Job Summary
Ed Technologies Corp., based in Vancouver, BC, is on a mission to deliver our Kidpreneurs.academy extracurricular programs to more communities. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to run our after-school classes in local public and private schools.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, self-employed, and able to work independently, delivering engaging and effective workshops to local school-age students, fostering a positive learning environment, and nurturing entrepreneurial skills.
This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Classes usually start after 2-3pm.
Ideal candidates include educators, entrepreneurs, parents, and community leaders who are passionate about youth education and business development. No prior teaching experience is required. A Criminal Record Check is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Present workshops related to e-commerce, business essentials, financial literacy, etc., while engaging students in extracurricular learning.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in a clear and engaging manner.
- Communicate with local public and private schools.
- Organize your work efficiently and independently.
Experience
- Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools is a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $60.00-$120.00 per hour
