Baywood Interior Millwork is a leading, progressive, medium sized architectural millwork, and, store fixture manufacturer, located in the Bridgeport Business Park area of Kitchener, ON.

We operate in the ICI, (industrial, commercial, and, institutional) construction fields, as well as, many retail store fixture environments.

In our 30th year of operation, Baywood continues to grow and diversify its operations, and, is looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Experience:

Current relevant hands on experience in the same, or, very similar field.

We expect the candidate to hit the ground running from day one.

Job Duties:

-Wood Shop Delivery & Set Up Person driving to & from Sites

-Accurate and timely, daily driver & delivery & set-up duties

-Maintain accurate paperwork and forward to various company departments daily

-This is a ‘hands on’ position including the careful loading and unloading of vehicles to prevent product damage. Must be able to lift 100 lbs plus, repeatedly when loading, unloading and in the placement of wooden cabinets

-Load and Unload trucks, cube & panel vans

-Ensure company owned vehicles are kept clean, serviced, and fueled up

-When not completing Driver/Delivery duties, you’ll be working in the plant doing plant maintenance, assisting cabinetmakers, and assigned machine operation work

-Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Reports to: Production Manager

Other Job Skills required:

-Detail oriented

-Tow-motor(Forklift)certified and trained preferred, if not, we’ll provide training

-Must have valid Class ‘G’ drivers licence and clean drivers abstract

-Must be in good physical health and able to lift up to 100lbs +

-Willingness to work overtime as needed

-Able to speak, read/write & understand English

-Strong, hardworking, punctuality and good attitude is mandatory

-Self motivated and works well with others

-Must have CSA approved Green Patch safety shoes

-You must be able to work with minimal supervision and work with time constraints

Remuneration:

Rate:
-Hourly, 44 hours weekly, O/T is available
