Job Description

Job Title: Welder Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

    • Weld with GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) processes to required specifications on various materials, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Mild Steel.
    • Fabricate and weld components according to layouts, engineered drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions, ensuring tolerances are met.
    • Interpret welding process specifications, blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
    • Operate manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated welding equipment.

Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of experience as a Welder/Fitter.
    • Proficient in blueprint reading and fitting skills.
    • Highly skilled in welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW).
    • CWB certification and Red Seal Certification are assets.
    • Ability to work safely and follow Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Sub Arc welding.
    • Pressure vessel welding experience.
    • Ability to weld with precision and meet specifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$41.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
