Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and various welding techniques to produce high-quality products and welding on trucks. Ideally looking for someone for a leadership role as well.
Duties
- Perform MIG steel and aluminum welding on various metals, ensuring strong and accurate welds
- Use plasma cutting, torches, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to shape and assemble components
- Rigging materials and operate cranes or forklifts safely to move heavy parts or assemblies
- Assist in assembly of fabricated parts according to specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure weld integrity and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper equipment handling
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding (MIG) and fabrication within manufacturing
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, schematics, and assembly processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation, forklift operation
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
- Training will be provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$37.00 per hour
