Mermaid Water Services is a growing local bulk water delivery company serving residential and commercial clients throughout the Niagara Region. We're looking for a reliable, motivated Water Truck Driver to join our team
About the Role:
As a Water Truck Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering bulk water to pools, cisterns, construction sites, and rural properties in a safe, professional and timely manner while maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive water trucks safely and responsibly following the highway traffic act and company policies.
- Deliver bulk water to customers as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report issues.
- Lift, carry, connect and pull heavy water hoses and equipment during deliveries.
- Operate a mechanical pump to speed up deliveries.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Handle customer payments
- Follow all company safety polices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid DZ or AZ licence. (Required)
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to work Mon - Friday and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable with physical and outdoor conditions
- Commercially Insurable
- Experience with water trucks or tanker driving is an asset (training available).

We primarily serve Wainfleet, Port Colborne, Cooks Mills, Sherkston, Gasline, Low Banks, Welland, Wellandport and surrounding communities.
