VP of Project Management
Job Description
Sign FX is an established, full-service signage company specializing in design, manufacturing, and installation across commercial and institutional projects.
We are seeking a Vice President of Project Management to lead our project execution team and take full ownership of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both team performance and project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Project Management team (currently 2 PMs, with a 3rd hire required immediately)
- Oversee project execution from handoff through to installation
- Ensure projects are delivered:
- On schedule
- Within budget
- At expected quality standards
- Manage and support the installation team from a project delivery standpoint
- Oversee:
- Scheduling and workflow coordination
- Budget tracking and margin control
- Change orders and billing accuracy
- Client and GC relationships
- Identify gaps in processes and implement improvements across departments
- Work closely with leadership on planning, capacity, and execution strategy
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of project management experience (construction, signage, or related industry preferred)
- Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple complex projects
- Strong understanding of:
- Budgets and margins
- Change orders
- Scheduling and coordination
- Ability to lead, make decisions, and hold team members accountable
- Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
