The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, promote preventive healthcare, and contribute to the well-being of the community. Working on our virtual program lets you work from the comfort of your home while providing care to those in need via video conference or phone call all while still receiving support from our clinic staff and managers.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b> </p><ul><li>Provide primary medical care including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct patient consultations and medical assessments. </li></ul><ul><li>Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs. </li></ul><ul><li>Offer preventative care such as vaccinations, health screenings, and lifestyle counseling. </li></ul><ul><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., bloodwork, imaging, ECGs). </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with specialists and allied healthcare providers for patient referrals and coordinated care. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with Alberta’s health regulations (e.g., Electronic Medical Records - EMR). </li></ul><ul><li>Stay up to date with continuing medical education (CME) and regulatory requirements. </li></ul><p><b>Qualifications & Requirements:</b> </p><ul><li>Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from an accredited institution. </li></ul><ul><li>Licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or eligibility to obtain licensure. </li></ul><ul><li>Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent. </li></ul><ul><li>Current Medical Liability Insurance (CMPA coverage). </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in primary care, urgent care, or rural medicine. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. </li></ul><p><b>Compensation & Benefits:</b> </p><ul><li>Fee-for-Service (FFS) billing via the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP).</li><li>Flexible work schedule and support for work-life balance.</li></ul><p>To Apply please call Samantha Wilk at (780)932-4468 or alternatively visit <span >https://www.medicentres.com/practice</span>-with-us/ and complete the form listed</p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>xe9ZwJnwzX</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
