Our client who is in the food industry, located in Mississauga, seeks a Vice President of Operations. Reporting to the CEO , this individual will oversee three production sites. This highly strategic role will work closely with the executive team on product experimentation, technological innovation, and sustainable development.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the senior leadership team to develop and implement an operational strategy aligned with organizations growth objectives.
- Determine and communicate strategic objectives to your teams and ensure the development and implementation of action plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze the performance of teams under your responsibility and make corrections or improvements as needed.
- Structure operations to optimize the efficiency of production processes while maintaining and developing project profitability, meeting deadlines, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze production capacity to plan human, material, and financial resource needs.
- Plan, manage, and monitor the operational budget.
- Identify and prioritize various opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support team members in developing their skills.
- Prepare and present operational information to the executive team.
Requirements
- University degree in business, accounting, economics or related field
- A minimum of 10 years experience in a management position in an assembly, manufacturing, or processing context.
- Knowledge of the agri-food, retail, and automation sectors.
- Ability to demonstrate inclusive, participatory, and collaborative leadership.
- Bilingualism, French and English, spoken and written is an asset.
